On Saturday, August 23, 2008, ISF sponsored SHRED-O-RAMA, a document shredding day offered as a free service to our customers and members of the community.  More than 100 participants came to drop off their unwanted paper documents and watch as they were safely shredded and hauled away by Accurate Document Destruction, Chicagoland’s largest mobile document-destruction service.

Parking lots and lobbies at both ISF bank locations were decorated with colorful signage and ISF-branded balloons to direct customers, and participants were invited to take literature on identity theft prevention and ISF banking products.

In addition, a brief eight-minute video on ID theft prevention was offered inside both locations, and as an extra added treat, refreshments including hot dogs, chips, and pop were served.

The SHRED-O-RAMA event marks the first of many customer-oriented events to be hosted over the next year as ISF celebrates its 75th Anniversary of service to the community. For information about other upcoming ISF events, please call 773-624-2000.
